At least we arrived at a affordable hour, about 6 am in contrast to our trip to Cebu, where we arrived at about three am Of course, we still arrived in Cebu at that ungodly hour, but then had to wait for our onward flight to Davao, which was really a free add-on with the deal we got from this no-frills airline. We altered three hundred dollars at Cebu airport. Only one funds-changer open so we knew it was a lousy rate, but, currently being Easter weekend, we didn’t know if we would come across anywhere open when we got there. It’s just as properly we modified, simply because we discovered we had to spend airport tax for the onward domestic flight. The moment we arrived at Davao airport, the taxi drivers have been not as well pushy and it did not take lengthy to find a jeepney from the airport. Regrettably it only went out to the primary highway and charged us (and some neighborhood tourists who thought it was totally free) ten pesos every single for a distance we could simply have walked. From there it was a reasonable P12 every all the way to St Pedro, the cathedral location exactly where we had read there had been plenty of hotels.
